At this very point in time (11:19:12 PM) I am working on my 'Teaching Philosophy' which I have to include as part of a teaching portfolio for my final interview.

This is the interview that will determine my 'S' rating.
My 'S' rating will determine my job prospects.
My job prospects will determine my quality of life.
My quality of life will determine my happiness and health.

So as you may have guessed, I have a lot riding on this interview and teaching porfolio.

Anyway... Doing this task has given me a chance to reflect on what I am passionate about - Teaching. While I was completing my final year of secondary school, on any given day you could easily swear that I hated school and you could tell becasue I swore about most things to do with... (hehehe - did you get the pun?)

But the deep truth is - I loved school. My memories from school will last forever! Especially primary school. I know some people loath looking back on their 'dog' years and for them I feel sorry.

I want to be the kind of teacher that students remember, not because I have weird and wacky hair and a unique sense of humour, but because I inspired them in some way. I want my students to look back on their 'dog' years and wonder what I (Miss T) might be doing now.

Anywho... I really should get back to what I was doing... What was that again? Oh yeah, writing out my future.

Smack ya's all later!

Love Nee xxx (Affectionately... Miss T)

ALWAYS DO YOUR BEST!

When you think it doesn't matter if you fail or pass the test.
Keep in mind this simple reason you should always be your best.
While the whole world may not notice if you try to give your all,
There is a special person to whom it matters if you fall.
A little voice within you - which directs your thoughts each day -
Will make the final judgment if you won or lost today.

Never can you fail yourself if you give it all you've got.
The world extends a hand to you when you give life your best shot.
For all that really matters when you're finished with the test
Is not the final score at all - but did you do your best.

Yeah, I agree with the statement about you should always do your best...

...take it from me, the amount of half-assed things I've done over the years is starting to bite my ass big time...

...I was gonna write a really long reply, but... I can't be assed...
