My daughter is just sooooo amazing!

This morning, I was feeling quite ordinary and was just getting myself ready for work. I heard Elli calling out to me from her bed, she was awake. So I went and got her and gave her lots of cuddles, because I haven't seen her very much in these last 2 weeks, since I have been working soooo damn much. Anyway, Adam was awake too and we all went to the computer room where Elli's toys are. Adam says to me "Watch this..." He went to Elli's play puppy and pressed the foot. It started singing "Heads, shoulders, knees and toes, knees and toes..." and what does Elli do?? She starts doing the actions!!!!!!!!!!! I nearly fell off my chair! I had tears in my eyes because I have been working so much and missing a whole lot of gorgeous things she's doing and learning... It just makes seeing her all that more special though. But I just couldn't believe my eyes... She is learning so quickly... It just blows me away to see how clever she is. She is really into her toys at the moment and has weekly favourites... It's really quite funny... She knows what she wants and even if you hide it at the bottom of the toy box, she knows how to get to it... And she pulls EVERYTHING out to get to it... hehehe

Manda - Elli LOVES the duck you gave her.. She follows it around and waits for it to lay the egg... then she puts them all back in and waits all over again. If you turn it off, she cracks it!

Jo, Jason, Casey, Cinda - Elli is really into that leady bug wire thingy... Where you move the lady bug along the wire... She sits there quietly for aaages working on it... She can do it and just makes the lady bug go back and forth... hehe

and books... She is really into books more and more these days.... One nght last week I came home and she woke up, so I took her into my bed and turned the lamp on and we just layed there reading "Flat Stanley"... She was pointing at all the pictures.

Elli, I love you to bits bub-bub and I miss you sooo much when i'm at work. I hope you know that I don't want to be away from you, but I have to work to earn money so we can do lots of fun and exciting things on holidays, so Mummy and Daddy can get married and so you can have lots of pretty things. I know you understand and I know you miss me too... Keep being who you are... The world has fallen in love with you my darling, and it's not hard to see why...
