king of the hill
Yet again, I have conquered the ascent known as Mt Coot-tha. In fact, I have conquered it 3 times in the past 7 days. Ed joined me Friday afternoon, and Tim joined me and Ed this morning for the journey.
After riding up Mt Coot-tha and back today, we stopped in at South Bank Parklands on the way home and met up with Nee and Ellianah. We had a bit of a swim and I must say, it was refreshing after the ride.
Nee will get cranky at me for saying this (as I haven't shut up since Friday about it), but on Friday when Ed and I were riding around the back of Mt Coot-tha, we rode past Talitha Cummins. She was standing outside Channel 7 studios, dressed for a photo shoot. She stared into my eyes for a good 4 seconds or so. She asked me to stop and have a cup of tea with her, but I kindly declined the request.
On another note, Ellianah has been improving her walking very rapidly lately. I think she will be walking by her first birthday, which is in 2 weeks time. It is very exciting to be experiencing this, and here's a shout out to Dannii and Rob, whose baby is due today!
At the BMW / Hardy Brothers social event I attended last week, I met her and was introduced by my editor! Then to top it off, I directed her and Stewart, the owner of Hardies, when I took a pic of them!
PS - Shuddup Adam! As if she'd be interested in you... SHe was probably looking at you like... "Ewww... what is THAT!"
