December 25
merry xmas!
Wow, this year has flown by! Lots of stuff has happened, but I have to say it's been one of the most enjoyable years of my life. Watching Ellianah grow up each day has been an incredible experience, which I hope all (most, some?) of you will experience one day too. Dannii and Rob... I think you'll probably be the first ones to understand my crabble (crap + dribble) :)

Last night we went out to our annual authentic Chinese dinner with professional restaurant-goer Gordon and the gang. This year the numbers were cut back to just the cool people - Nee, Ellianah, Gordon, Abby, Cameron and myself included. The food was tasty and it was followed by an ice-cream from Maccas.

Only 36 hrs until we fly out to Auckland to start our crazy adventure. The shit thing is my sore throat flared up on Saturday (presumably because of consuming large quantities of Ed's xmas present (Jelly Bellys)), and I have been battling it ever since. Nee has also decided (after much resistance) that she too would like to have a head cold, which she announced may be forming as I type.

My good friend Jay is house-sitting while we're away. I've hooked up the webcam so I can see who's walking through my house naked. Thought I could make a bit of extra income to help fund the holiday :)

Not that anyone cares (except maybe Nee and myself), but we are getting upgraded to ADSL2+ on the 8th January. This means we can use up our monthly quota (30GB) in a mere 4 hours!!! On second thought... maybe that's TOO MUCH POWER??!??

And finally, I would like to wish Ed a Merry Xmas. Unfortunately he is the only person (in the world, I think) spending xmas away from his family and loved ones. See you on Saturday and I'll give you an xmas hug!

We spend 3 nights together alone... personally I think there is a good chance there'll be more than just hugs.
