We survived our first night in Auckland after being attacked by kiwi birds at the airport. Just kidding, even though we nearly didn't make the plane due to Nee feeling a bit off, we settled in nicely and Ellianah slept for almost the entire trip.

We have hired a car and spent last night at my cousins's place in Auckland. Our first meal was delicious - we stopped at a cute little burger joint called "Burger Queen". I had a dinosaur burger and Nee had a hawaiian burger. Very nice, big, and cheap. Today we head off to meet up with some family and buy the essentials - nappies and baby food (and a pre-paid sim card).
