early morning mtb'ing
On Sunday I woke up at 4am to go out mountain-biking. I had my alarm set for 5:30am, except I couldn't sleep as I was too excited. I picked up Cameron just before 6am and headed down to Daisy Hill to meet up with a group of riders.
There was about 10 people in our group (Level 4). Overall we rode about 30km through the Daisy Hill reserve, up and downhill. Cameron had a tough time because his bike was pretty heavy and he's only used to going downhill.
It was the most perfect morning, until about 5 minutes before we were due to finish up. Rain started pouring down and turned the dirt into thick mud. Completely saturated and muddy, we went back to our car and noticed I had a flat tyre! Damn!
Luckily Cameron was there otherwise I think I would have just sat there and cried. He changed the tyre for me and we head back to our place for some a delicious cooked breakfast! YAY!
