So this last week has been an interesting one. I started back working fulltime, but with a company named bigfish. They're nice people and let me work at home still, so that makes me happy. On Saturday (last night) I had a "starting work party" which was just an excuse to see all of our friends and drink a little. A good night was had and I enjoyed myself.

This morning I had to wake up relatively early, quickly sober up and drive out to some rehearsal rooms in West End. I had been contacted earlier in the week by a singer who was looking for a drummer to play in their covers band, Deep Blue. It sounded pretty interesting and I've been wanting to join a band lately so I jumped at the opportunity.

We jammed for an hour or so, and I really enjoyed playing with a full band again. They consist of a singer, keyboards, congas/percussion, and lead guitar. They auditioned two other drummers after me, however unfortunately for them I was too damn sexy, and they were forced to ask me to join their band.

I said yes... So yay for me, finally getting out and doing what I've been wanting to do for a long time! I'll let you know of any gigs that arise over the next few months. See ya's all soon!
